::)
I can remember going on the American Whip when I was a little kid, it was far and away the best ride...the east side was a boating lake with a little train going round it and in the summer you could have a go on a trampoline. The only other rides I remember are the Wendy Glide, a roller coaster; the helter skelter; the Crooked House; Gold Mine; The Choo Choo Train and Jungle Safari. This is going back 30 odd years. Any other old dears who remember any other rides?

The earliest memory I have of the park was from when I was about 6 or 7, also riding the Whip. Although that was only 15/16 years ago.... (gawd that makes me feel strangely older!)

I saw a photo of a castle building, just right of the pier. Does anybody know what it was (a ride, or shop,etc?) I've been going to Adventure Island (or Peter Pans Playground as it used to be called) for as long as i can remember; since about 1993, and i don't remember it being there at all!!

Was it this one?

This was located where the office building and customer services are now. It was the park's rather small HQ...
